What started in 2009 has become an event parents, educators, counselors, and various other professionals who work with persons on the autism spectrum look forward to each April. A Wichita Falls resident, personally interested in raising awareness of autism spectrum disorders, generously donated the seed money to develop a conference in the north Texas region. We hope to use this medium in efforts to increase distribution of information on ASDs and techniques to use with individuals affected by them.
The timing of the conference is in conjuction with April being Autism Awareness Month. A small group of committed Wichita Falls residents, parents, and professionals make up the Autism Conference of Texoma planning committee.
Please see the links on the left for more information about the conference. Look under "PDF Documents" on the left for printable conference flyers.
We hope to see you there! |
